Genus: Chindongo
Biotope: Rocky habitat. Presumably inhabits sediment-poor rocky areas typical of elongatus-type mbuna.
Geographic distribution: Lake Malawi. Exact distribution not reliably documented.
Typical adult size: Unknown. Likely similar to other members of the Chindongo elongatus complex.
Sexual dimorphism: Presumed present. Males likely more intensely blue than females, but specific differences are undocumented.
Recommended aquarium size: 300–400 L or larger.
Aquarium setup: Rock-dominated aquarium with many caves and visual barriers. Layout should allow formation of distinct territories.
Diet: Aufwuchs-based diet. Grazes algae and associated microorganisms.
