Placidochromis sp. 'chinyankwazi' Chinyankwazi Island

Genus:	Placidochromis
Geographic distribution:	Endemic to Chinyankwazi Island, Lake Malawi.
Sexual dimorphism:	Males in coloration are blue with yellow on the lower part of the body.
Diet:	Observed scavenging in small groups.
Breeding:	Territorial males have not been observed; males showing breeding coloration are rare.
Special notes:	Individuals are usually seen in very small groups, never more than three together.
