Genus: Labidochromis
Biotope: Rocky biotope.
Geographic distribution: Western coast of Lake Malawi; recorded from Mara Rocks.
Typical adult size: Up to 9 cm.
Recommended aquarium size: Minimum aquarium length 110 cm, or at least 250 L.
Diet: Feeding behavior similar to insectivorous species; analyses of gigas-like Labidochromis indicate algae as the predominant item in the gut.
Special notes: Large, light blue gigas-like Labidochromis. Females are overall brown without black markings, with brown fins. Occurs at a geographically isolated reef location.
